A delicious zucchini gratin featuring turkey bacon that is both easy to make and indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced zucchini
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the zucchini, turkey bacon, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Layer half of the zucchini mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the first layer.
  5. Add the remaining zucchini and top with the rest of the cheese.
  6. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the entire dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle breadcrumbs on top before baking.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes before serving to allow it to set.
