Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 oranges (juiced)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  3. Place the pork in the slow cooker and add the orange juice, lime juice, and bay leaves.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork with two forks and serve.
