A creamy and indulgent Pasta Carbonara recipe using turkey bacon and chicken ham for a lighter twist.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then add minced garlic and chicken ham, cooking until heated through.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water, and add to the skillet with the bacon and ham.
  5. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water if needed to create a creamy sauce.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, you can omit the meat and add vegetables like peas or mushrooms.
