Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Serve the bolognese sauce over the spaghetti.
