A delicious and unique twist on classic salmon recipes featuring a sweet mango teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, diced mango, lime juice, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then brush with olive oil.
  4. Place salmon on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. During the last couple of minutes of cooking, baste with the mango teriyaki mixture.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the teriyaki mixture.
  • Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad.
