Garlic Parmesan Rice is a delightful comfort food that combines the richness of garlic and parmesan with the savory taste of turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add rice to the skillet and toast it for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat, cooking for 18-20 minutes until rice is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese and black pepper.
  6. Crumble the cooked turkey bacon on top before serving.
