Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 large egg
2 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, crumbled turkey bacon, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
In a saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water and stir until smooth. Add to the simmering broth and cook until thickened.
Serve the meatballs drizzled with the savory onion sauce.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding herbs such as thyme or parsley to the meatball mixture.
These meatballs can also be served with pasta or mashed potatoes.
