These Easy Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells are the perfect comfort food, combining creamy ricotta and fresh spinach in a delicious pasta shell.

Ingredients

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo shells according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian herbs to the cheese mixture.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
