  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble; set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in broken lasagna noodles and simmer until al dente.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth. Cook until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey instead of turkey bacon for a healthier option.
