  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pan, brown the beef stew meat.
  3. Transfer bacon and beef to the Crock Pot.
  4. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, and broth.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
