  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add potatoes and corn, followed by chicken broth. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and thyme, cook until heated through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then add crumbled bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker chowder, blend a portion of the soup and stir it back into the pot.
  • Can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter version.
