  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add butter, eggs, cinnamon, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add raisins during the last few minutes of kneading.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
