  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon espresso powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
