A quick and delicious recipe for Mongolian beef meatballs that packs a flavor punch and can be prepared in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 15 minutes.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch; simmer until thickened.
  6. Once meatballs are done, drizzle sauce over them and serve.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
